02
How to write tv series
1. We talk about the differences between film and television.
2. Wellcarved characters are the gold of a series. In a practical exercise we try a tool I use in order to get a deeper understanding of exciting and real characters that come alive on the screen (or audio).
3. Dilemmas and theme are two important building blocks in creating a series that will keep the audience’s attention. Through learning about dilemmas and the use of themes we can create organic action that reveals character and builds to a suspenseful story.
4. How dow we create a season? Through dissecting a story we will learn about mapping out an episode and season.
This is a half day class that I have previously held at two publishing houses, Norstedts and Storytel, specifically for authors. The half day class is a summary of my five-evening-class I previously taught at Cinemantrix, Stoc

03
The itching
It always starts with that itching feeling that something is not quite right. We might feel unsatisfied with some part (or all) of our lives, that our art isn’t financially viable, that we feel too much pressure to perform or make money, that we feel discouraged, that the need to be productive strangles our creativity or that we are not getting the breakthrough we so desperately need.
That itching feeling is our inner warning system that calls on us to stop, turn inward and listen. We need to face ourselves and our deep truths. The itching is the traffic sign telling us we are on the wrong street and that we need to find the way back to our own untraveled road.
In this workshop we will go back to the foundation on which your dreams and vision resides. From there we can start to turn that heartfelt yearning into goals you can work towards. At the end of the workshop you will have a first draft of your own personalized action plan and you will be ready to take the first steps on your own paved road.
The workshop length can be custom fitted, but serves the attendees well as 1/2 day, 1 1/2 days or five half day sessions. Follow-up meetings can be arranged.
Clients I have worked with include among others: Kultur i Väst, Unga kvinnliga dirigenter, Alma Manusutbildning, Art & Business.
